apache web server 80을 운영하다가 vmware를 설치한 후 web서버가 실행되지 않았습니다.
vmware에 workstation server setting에 enable virtual machine sharing and remote access를 비활성화하니 해결되는군요.
해당 기능이 필요하다면 포트를 변경도 가능해 보입니다.
