A.  Cisco Packet Tracer is a comprehensive, netw orking technology teaching and learning program that offers a

Packet Tracer in areas such as curriculum and assessment delivery, games, accessibility, and interfacing
w ith real equipment.

Password Recovery Tool is used to recover any keys of type “7” for gaining access to Cisco routers. You can also use Password Recovery Tool for recovery of the following types of keys:

· Router access password
· User password
· Authorization key for RADIUS server
· Authorization key for TACACS server
· Router access password via the console

To recover the password, in a relevant section of the configuration file find one of the following strings:

· password 7 <digital_string>
· key 7 <digital_string>,

where digital_string - is a digital row, for example 15020A1F173D24362C.

To restore the key or password, it is necessary to copy the digital_string row in the entry field 'Encrypted key' and then press the 'Decrypt' button. The recovered password appears in the 'Decrypted Password' field. On the site of WinAgents <http://www.winagents.com/> you can also find other programs for administration of Cisco routers.

Firmware files are large so it may take awhile for your download to complete. Firmware available for download on this site resides on an Apple Inc. server.

Use the following steps to check which version of firmware is installed on your device. TapSettings > Tap General > Tap About > Your current running iOS firmware will be listed next to Version.

Updating or Restoring Your Device with New iOS Firmware (IPSW) Files

Restoring your device will delete all data and content, including videos, songs, photos, contacts, and other information, and will restore all settings to their factory condition. Updating your device doesn't affect your content, settings or other information. In either case, I recommend that you back-up your content in iTunes before beginning the process.

After downloading the desired firmware, connect the device to your computer and select it in iTunes. Mac users hold down the Option key, while Windows users should hold down the Shiftkey. Then click on the Update or Restore button, select the IPSW file you recently downloaded and click Choose. Your device should now begin to update. Take note that certain browsers may change the ipsw-file into a zip-file. If this should occur, just rename it to end in .ipsw and iTunes will recognize it.
